We believe families deserve to know how the things their children read are made. So here it is, plainly.
Every story starts with a person: our own idea, our own choice of lesson, our own edits, line by line. Along the way we use AI writing tools to help draft, shape, and polish — the same way a writer might use a thesaurus, an editor, or a research assistant. A human decides what each story says and how it ends. Nothing is published unread.
The illustrations throughout the site — the story art and the portraits on our “inspired by” pages — are created with AI image tools and then curated by us. They are artistic interpretations, not photographs. The portraits are stylized tributes meant to represent an idea to a child, not accurate likenesses or official images.
Each story is an original work inspired by the public ideas of the thinker we name — a philosopher, scientist, or teacher whose work sparked the lesson. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by those people or their estates, and naming them is not a claim that they support Little Keys. We aim to represent their ideas faithfully and respectfully. If we’ve gotten something wrong, we truly want to know.
