A note from the dad who started it.
I’ve spent most of my life reading the people who shaped how I think — philosophers, scientists, teachers. I started at 28, and I never really stopped.
When I became a dad, one thought kept coming back: why do we wait until we’re grown to learn these lessons? I wanted my kids to feel them early — not as rules, but as stories they’d actually want to hear.
I went looking for a resource that did it the way I pictured it, and couldn’t find one. So I started writing my own stories.
As AI tools got better, I leaned on them to help shape and polish the idea — and things moved quickly. Within a few weeks, Little Keys to the Universe was live as a podcast on Spotify. Apple Podcasts and YouTube followed. Then came translations — Spanish, Portuguese, and German. And now this website, to grow the idea further.
I don’t promote or represent any of the thinkers who inspired these stories. I’m not affiliated with them, I don’t speak for them, and none of them are involved with Little Keys. I simply want to acknowledge them, in my own way, for helping shape my life — and to pass a little of that on to the next set of curious minds.
40 original bedtime stories, calming songs on the same themes, “10 Ways” guides that turn each idea into practical tips for parents, and a page for each of the thinkers who inspired the stories. The stories are free to read and listen to — on the site and as a podcast wherever you listen. It’s an independent creative project, written and illustrated for families who want bedtime to mean a little something more. You can read more about how it’s made.
